I would like to borrow an item, but I am not an alumni?

Answer :

Thank you for reaching out regarding access to our library’s collection. As you are not currently an alumnus of Rhodes University, borrowing privileges may be limited. However, there are a few options available to you:

  1. Inter-Library Loan (ILL) – If you are affiliated with another university, I recommend checking with your institution’s library to see if they can request the item through inter-library loan.

  2. On-Site Access – You are welcome to visit our library and use the item within the library premises.

  3. External Membership – If you require borrowing privileges, we do offer external membership to our community members.
