Question :

I have lost a library book, what should I do?

Answer :

You will need to contact the User Access Services Librarian in person, or via email or telephone:

(E-mail: libloansupport@ru.ac.za Tel +27-046-603-8463) 

and inform him/her that you have lost the book. The library will provide a quotation for the replacement of the book.  You will be given a quote which will include the current price of the book, a R50.00 handling fee and the fine.  It is also possible for you to buy the book (same edition) and give it to the library as a replacement.
