Question :

How can I get the following article as soon as possible? I noticed that the interloan library route takes quiet some time. Article: Optical

Answer :

It is possible to purchase this article online directly from the Optical Society of America but this would cost you US$ 15.00 if you were an OSA member and US$ 35.00 if you were a non-member.

I think that it would be worth considering obtaining the article via ILL (Inter-Library Loans) as the journal in which the article appears is held by at least three reputable local university libraries.  If you request the article online, the turnaround time would probably be 1 - 2 days and the cost considerably smaller, if anything at all.  To request an article online, Use this link. To use this facility you need to have first registered for My Library Record.  If you have any queries about this process, please do not hesitate to contact our ILL library Assistant, Ms Rina Goosen (r.goosen@ru.ac.za) or alternatively consult the ILL webpage.
