Question :

What is SEARCH ALL? and what happened to the old OPAC search?

Answer :

SEARCH ALL is the newly introduced discovery platform on the library webpage which searches across different resources ie print books, electronic books, journal articles (including full text), journal titles, & database resource titles. Search results can further be refined via format, location, collection etc. SEARCH ALL reflects the Eastern Cape Higher Education consortium environment.

SEARCH ALL replaces the OPAC as the default search. Users can currently still access the OPAC via the Search All purple tabs, located top left.
