Good day, I frequently work in the post grad commons and often there is no ventilation as the air conditioning is off. On top of this it is sometimes too warm or too cool. Is there no set room temperature at which it should always (one for when its cold- because often they make it far too hot/one for when it's a warm day) ? It can get really stuffy inside the pg commons, and it's not really conducive to a healthy working environment. Thank you in advance for your response.

Answer

All the library airconditioners are usually set at 23 degrees which is the most economical and effective temperature. Students and staff should refrain from tampering with the airconditioners.  We will bring this to the attention of the Post Graduate Student Assistants on duty.
