Why has the post-grad commons been denied access to a new stapler. I understand that these staplers break and that they sometimes get stolen. However, the same could be said for the staplers in the main library, yet the main library still has staplers. If there is a greater problem concerning staplers in the post-grad commons then an option would be to implement the same measures used in the main library to keep such problems minimal. If anything, it would strike me that the post-grad labs should have smaller problems when it comes to this. We, as post-grads, typically have to print out large readings and not having a stapler is irksome.

Answer

Dear Student

As you have mentioned,  the staplers are constantly being broken or stolen, so there are challenges in obtaining staplers on a regular basis.  I have noted your concern and have placed an order for a new stapler for the Post-graduate Commons.  The turnaround time in obtaining stationery may differ from time to time so your patience in this regard is appreciated.
