Rhodes University Library subscribes to an impressive number of databases which provide users access to the full-text of more than 35, 000 online, peer-reviewed, scholarly journals.  If you are looking for a journal article, it is always a good idea to search the A to Z e-titles via SFX (http://rusfx.hosted.exlibrisgroup.com/ru/az/?lang=eng), a listing of full-text electronic journals to see if the article is available electronically, as well as to check the Rhodes University Library Catalogue OPAC http://opac.seals.ac.za/search~S2/) to see if the article is available in print.

The article that you are looking for is available via three databases Free Medical Journals, African Journals Online and Open Journal Systems.  Remember to search for the article using the journal title, South African Medical Journal!  If you need any further help, please come to the library and ask to see one of the Faculty Librarians.
